This last summer we had 25 pretty, sweet, happy chickens. Now we only have...5.
Every night FOXES come and lurk around our coop trying to find a way in, and when the light sensor door malfunctions and doesn’t close. We wake up to find FEATHERS ALL OVER THE YARD! And our chickens cowering in the corner of the coop. We feel awful, but the fox attacks only happen at night and all we can’t really stay up and stand guard all the time. We are going to get a better door soon. And end these awful massacres.
Now in loving memory of a few of my favourite and dearly missed fallen soldiers : Aspen, Loki and Cherry.
