It may be depending on the subspecies, but I believe most meyers don't start getting their yellow crowns until they are getting their adult plumage, which would be in the 18 month mark. Some may be sooner than that, others later, and some won't get any at all.

im confused lol
it says that a the bird picture species is
a blue bellied/namibian but i cant find any pics of it
im also confused coz pic on link doesnt look like the pic i have

No idea as I got Dolly when she was about 10 years old & guess she is about 12 yo here.
She was from Petco. Dolly really did not have blue on the wings so prominently.

What age is the bird you are looking for? Try looking at you tube vids of Meyers at similar ages.
That looks like a pretty young Meyers. Maybe 4 months? Still its hard to tell as the yellow on the head is supposed to come in about 1 to 2 years so that bird could be older than it looks. Just looks juvenile to me.
There are some Meyers that have more blue. Most are blue-green. There are some where the yellow gene is suppressed hence they look for blue.

Too much yellow on its head for it be taken before its first molt. Yellow slowly comes after the first molt

Pictured above is a young female Blue-bellied, or Namibian Meyers.
In this photo, she looks somewhat smaller than she actually is.

I am guessing this is referencing a specific subspecies.

what Subspecies of Meyers do you have?

I just thought it would be fun to see who has what Subspecies of Meyers and to maybe compare pics and see the differences in them. If anyone happens to know,is any sub known to have a sweeter temperment then the other?

Unless their parents or grand-parents were wild-caught in those areas, I personally doubt anyone who says their meyer's are very specific subspecies. They've been interbred so much in captivity that we can't really tell which is which anymore.
Could just be the picture's quality, but does the left wing look green to anyone else?

I agree, pure meyers subspecies in captivity would surprise greatly

It's very hard to tell from the photo honestly!
