Can cockatiels eat strawberry leaves?

I've haven't found anything for or against cockatiels eating strawberry leaves. I was trying to feed my bird, Pudge, a strawberry, but he seems to be more interested in the leaves! Has anyone else fed their birds strawberry leaves, or is it safe in general? Thanks for the help!

I have, from what I know it is safe I have my Own strawberry plants and take Some leaves and the berries off for my lovebirds to enjoy.

I've had no issues with giving my birds leaves either. Mims seems to like them more than the berry itself.

Awesome, thank you so much! I was concerned because I read an article on budgies and how strawberry leaves were toxic to them, but I'm glad it's okay for Pudge to eat the leaves
