caique baby screaming all the time

I have a two month old caique baby. It's been 3 days since it came to me.
I feed it as it should, but even after feeding it continues to scream. When you put it in a Separate Room, it can quiet and start again after a while, but it doesn't stop when I'm with me. Why could it be?

I'm thinking the same.
I wonder how long this bird was away from the parents in the nest before coming to you?
Does he settle down when allowed to snuggle into a nook of your arm or neck etc?
Hopefully the members tagged here will be able to give more insight.

Caiques wean at 11-12 weeks. This baby was expelled from the nest too fast

It should be in a safe QUIET dark place with its mother 24/7. Thats YOU BTW

It wants attention, and possibly food as well. It should be STUFFED with food regularly as it is in a high growth phase, pushing out flight feathers

Is it being hand fed?. This is a delicate procedure not to be attempted without great care

It looks big enough to eat off a spoon. then place it in a quiet warm dark place. I brought mine to work in a shirt pocket several times. The attention and warmth kept it quiet all day, despite the legions of cooing female wannabe slaves

Most likely it is hungry. You mention that you feed it as you should. Specifically what are you feeding him, how much and how often?

Mine were over 3 and a half months old before I could take them home. Your baby is reeeally young and needs very special care at that age. It's more than just the feeding which is why I didn't try and take mine before they were weaned. Be careful not to expose them to other birds unless they get their shots too. The people here who breed them will have good advice.

Ps I love the Caique baby food scream because it's so over the top.
