John, does it bolt to the cage top? And do you think it would be big enough for a bird Opie's size? He's bigger than a green cheek,, close to a hawkhead (200 g).

Yes it bolts from underneath to mount firmly to the top of the cage. The perches are just under 3/4" thick. I can replace perches if desired.
