I am finally starting to learn after all this time. Bath FIRST clean cages SECOND! Otherwise you clean cages TWICE. 
Yes Team Green had their morning bath and then I cleaned the mess up and repapered the cages and trash will head out when I leave in a few. Always start at the top and work your way down. Cage, Tray and grate, Floor last.
