Bwahahahaha ran into an Armadillo

On the way to the mailbox 2:45 am , I heard snort snort in the grass, i stopped and looked and saw an ARMADILLO-I love them No camera of course, ran back inside and the lil critter was across the street already But I'm soooo happy to finally get a pic of one---a really really bad pic, but I'm happy anyway

we had them in oklahoma. you could go out there and stomp the ground right by them and they wouldnt move. i used to grab them by the tail and take them over to the woods so they didnt drive the dog inside nuts with all the snorting going on outside while they dug up bugs.sometimes you would run across one that would jump about 3 foot in the air when you scared it by stomping.

one question though why going to the mailbox that early lol

well just my luck I have a camera shy armadillo, he didn't want any part of the picture-taking process
And I wasn't going to the mailbox early, I was totally late, having sat in front of Avian Avenue all day long, I never went to get the mail

They would have been asleep most likely anyways. Lol

I love armadillios, at least I really like looking at them. Never really saw if they have teeth or fangs or anything like that - could change my mind possibly if they did.
