How long does it take for 2 budgies to groom & feed each other & get on? I'm a New owner of budgies.. any advice would be great thanks..

Some birds make friends pretty fast and others will never be friends so there’s no easy way to answer your questions as it will be different for each bird.

having cages side by side helps so they can see each other chat etc if their body language seems relaxed towards each other you can try let them out together see if they get along be prepared to break up any fights if they get along you can try them in cage together for an hour or so day (if wanting to cage together) make sure there’s two food bowls water bowls watch for one bulling other this takes time and should be done slowly in steps

as @Shezbug said some get along well straight away others take time some never do you will know with your birds if one step doesn’t work slowly go back to other

some birds just will be friends out of cage but never want to share

my green cheeks and lovebirds get along outside of cage but have never wanted to share they seem better in their own cages
