hello I’m hoping someone can help me with my question I started off with A pair of turquoise parrots two years ago they gave birth to 2 male and female I separated them at the time because I didn’t want them to breed till they were two years old now they are still separated in the meanwhile the regional parents have now given birth to another two and then another two now my question is, siblings can’t mate so what do I do they are all brothers and sisters do I have to introduce another pair that are aren’t from the same parents

Do you now have ten total? Are you able to rehome any?

so what do I do they are all brothers and sisters
You will need new lines.
You could choose a few to stay, and then swap the others for mates for the birds you keep with other breeders looking to trade.
Or sell them and then purchase the birds you need to make pairs.

It is unethical to allow siblings to reproduce as we don´t know the types of physical and mental health complications that could arise.
