Beau has been pretty nervous with me so far, but I have started the type of training I did with my old budgies. I first got them used to me by putting some food next to me, then I had the dish in my hand, then I had no dish and they were perched on my hands.
So today was one of my first sessions working with him. I had some food on the table next to me and I was feeding Maddie out of my hand. Beau was eating out of the dish, and before I knew it, Beau was on my hand too and Maddie was sharing the food with him (not chasing him away!). It was really awesome! I just wish I had had my camera.
