He is yes,I've had him 5 months now and I'm still no closer to taming him. He's just absolutely petrified of hands. He's from a petstore so I don't imagine he was probably raised to be tamed.Aww a Linnie. Great little birds. Is he hand shy?
I went into this expecting he'd be like this so it's definitely not a suprise that he is. I'd hoped after 5 month we'd have made a bit more headway but thats ok if he never does. I love him no matter whatLinnies have a reputation for being hand shy. Mine were and not from pet store. All you can do is keep showing him hands bring good things to beaks.
Omg they are absolutely precious! What a gorgeous pair. I'm so sorry you had to rehome them unexpectedly.I dug around and found a photo of the two I had in the past. I made the photo for a signature. I was moving into my first senior apartment where pets were not allowed so I found someone who would provide a good home for the pair. They really loved each other and I fully expected to have a clutch soon.
