He is yes,I've had him 5 months now and I'm still no closer to taming him. He's just absolutely petrified of hands. He's from a petstore so I don't imagine he was probably raised to be tamed.

Linnies have a reputation for being hand shy. Mine were and not from pet store. All you can do is keep showing him hands bring good things to beaks.

I went into this expecting he'd be like this so it's definitely not a suprise that he is. I'd hoped after 5 month we'd have made a bit more headway but thats ok if he never does. I love him no matter what

I dug around and found a photo of the two I had in the past. I made the photo for a signature. I was moving into my first senior apartment where pets were not allowed so I found someone who would provide a good home for the pair. They really loved each other and I fully expected to have a clutch soon.
