Your birds are so funny, Kassiani! The vacuum cleaner sounding like a rain storm seems to be the general opinion over the years. The hairdryer and heavy rain on the conservatory roof have the same effect. Maybe it’s innate behaviour for a lot of birds… apart from yours! Lol!!
