Birdy Muffins!!

Ingredients in this batch:

Corn meal
Organic whole wheat flour
Harrison's fine ground pellets
blueberries
sesame seeds
carrots
green pepper
cayenne pepper
banana
apple

I make a batch, cut them in half, and then freeze them. They usually last a week or two. Eddie devours them!

I made some muffins last week I do the same, freeze them and cut them half.I also add pellets to the mix thats the only way I can get Hiram to eat them.

They look excellent!! I wonder why corn meal is so common in baked stuff for parrots?

Thanks! I'm not sure...is it bad for them? Most of the recipes I've seen for birdbread call for cornmeal. I know Eddie loves it!

I usually make a batch of cornbread for myself, too, when I'm making birdy bread

OMG Im REALLY gonna go home tomorow (Im at work) and make those for Prudence! She comes home tomorow night and I think she might like a nice treat like that, and all the ingredients are already in my fridge/Cupboard!
