I received my May 2011 issue of BirdTalk and there seems to be a decent article in there on plucking. I glanced over it this afternoon when I got the mail, I am interested to see if there is any new information on plucking that I am not aware of, especially in light of the macaw that I may be going to meet this coming week.

Oops, sorry I didn't answer, somehow I missed getting back to this thread. So far the woman hasn't called me back yet, we spoke late last week and she said she was feeling under the weather and wanted to get better before I came over. She told me it would be sometime this week. If I don't hear from her by early next week I might try to give her a call back just to touch base with her. I will definitely keep everyone updated here.
