bird natural safe glue for diy toys?

i was thinking to use peanut butter or flour and water as a paste to glue toilet paper rolls together is it a good idea? or just natural rope?

I would just use rope or even zip ties. I worry with something like food it could spoil, mold, or go rancid. Raw flour is also a salmonella risk.

Rope would probably be your best bet. I don't think I've seen glues used in parrot toys before. Paper rope, sisal, and hemp seem to be the ones I see most for parrot toys :)
