Big Scooter's drawers are getting ratty

all i came up with is an exact replica of the dresser but with no moving parts. The way it looks with the drawers cascadingly opened. Each side has doors at every level. Hinged doors can pinch feet so I have to think about that. I'd like to give him vertical movement as well as the lateral he currently has but don't know how safe it would be to have holes in the floor of each level he could stumble and fall into and break a leg
It will be on casters.
Lots of 1" peepholes in the side doors.
How many hours would this take i wonder. i will ask.

well his carpenter smokes so the contractor said he would build it but his rates are double . I just don'twant this to end up costing 4 figures you know? I can find another carpenter at HD etc but what if he's a bad guy? The contractor I trust

It's definitely a lot of time any way you shape it (no pun). The only thing I can say is if it fits your budget - then go for it!
