bathtime snuggles?

My not-so-snuggly parakeets don't like baths. But for some reason Storm is different. She prefers to fight tooth and nail until shes in the sink, then she clings to me for dear life and climbs up into my neck area like Pico, my plet does. So I end up wrapping her up in a small towel lightly and let her cuddle with me, and I've never had a budgie do this before, its so surreal.

Is this a normal thing?

Most birds that I have encountered do like baths but they each like to take them in their own way. Squeeky loves to take showers with me while Scooty will take showers with me or she will bath in the water bowl.

Sunny only likes being misted. I've given up trying a water dish. The last time I tried, I had him on my hand and lowered him into the water. He took a drink, gave me a dirty look, climbed out of the dish and walked back to the living room.
