wonder if they are itchy when they first feather out? Going by how much our babies itch and want help getting the pinnies out. Or if its like a baby teething…never thought of that till I saw these two..

No there's no.indication that babys first feathers cause itching, at least in the early days. Later they will spend lots of time removing the keratin feather sheaths and preening. This may be itchy for them but there's no sign of annoyance from them

Theres a three day age gap between babies so now you can see relative progression very easily
