Bad week

Buttercup my little canary had a stroke Friday, 3 days after Kylie was put to sleep.

Buttercup's turning right (which is her damaged side), so when I came home I just sat with her and managed to encourage her to eat. It's been very touch and go, she's okay in herself but she tilts over, so I'm just taking every day as it comes. She has been eating and has started batheing and preening so hopefully she'll be okay.

Aww Helen. I am so sorry you are going through so much at once. I am sorry for your loss. And am sending positive healing energy for Buttercup.
What happened to Kylie? Is it possible something was passed to Buttercup?

Kylie died of a large tumor, sadly Buttercup is a very old lady and has already had some form of trauma on her right side - no idea what, I rescued her- so it's not too surprising, it's just sad because she was really doing so much better. She's looking abit better today, but I'm just taking everyday I have with her as a gift.
