Baby zebra finches keep trying to climb out of the nest

So we have baby zebra finches that are about a week old. Although their feathers have only just started growing, the one tries to climb out, so we find him on the floor. This has happened with our first hatchling, so we're worried the others might continue.

Have you seen them try to climb out of the nest? If not it is possible that the parents are pushing them out.

That's a possibility. But why though? They're visibly too young

I believe that often times if the parents sense something is wrong with the chick(s) they will do that. So the stronger babies are able to get the lions share of the food and warmth to survive.
