Baby Robin :(

I saw a baby robin yesterday. It was a fledgling and was peeping for it's parents. It would go to robins and they would fly away from it. I wanted to help it but I had no cage and no idea what to do. I had no idea where the nest was. So I left it and hoped the parents would find it and feed it.
This morning I found the robin dead in my front yard. I feel guilty because I didn't help it. The poor innocent baby. I put it in a box so it wouldn't be eaten. I'm so sad about this.

Don't fret. I had the same thing happen to me today except with a black capped chickadee baby. It's sad but it's nature. If all the chicks that hatched out survived then the world would be overrun by birds. It's best to let nature take it's course.

Aw poor thing. Nature is so cruel sometimes.

It happens, dont feel bad. I had a rescue dove come in DOA the other day. Just a baby, but it is nature, cruel as it seems.
