I think she has a few different breeds though as she sells them for meat, breeding, dairy and something else which I can’t remember now-

Fleece? Angora goat fiber makes a gorgeous yarn. And, of course, cashmere comes from goats.

We had 10 acres and sheep, rabbits, geese and one goat to help us keep the grasses controlled. The female sheep had twin babies that were so cute too. The geese were all over the place and even chased tot goat.

Right now we have four goats, two wethers and two retired does. My mom and her friend breed spotted boer goats, so I get to play with the babies every year. I've even helped with some of the deliveries, so I can add "goat mid-wife" to my list of life skills.

There's nothing more pure than a one-day old baby goat. So soft, so cute, so spunky. I love 'em.

Yes, my pictures are all boer goats. Not sure about the OP's breeds. The solid whites look like saanens, but I don't know dairy breeds very well.

Traditional boers are white with a solid red head, like the baby goat on the right:



A boer that has a lot of "color" on its body is called a paint. They are relatively common in large herds, but traditional markings are usually preferred by breeders interested in the classic boer look.



Black headed boers are less common, but do occur occasionally in traditional herds.



Solid red or solid black boers are much less common, because the traditional white markings are dominant.

Our goats are mostly spotted boers, some black and some red. They don't look much like the traditional boers, but they are full-blooded boer goats all the same.

This is my mom's herd sire, Rock. He is a big handsome boy and he throws good spots.
