Hooray. Argyle, my Linnie has been here for 5 weeks tomorrow. He is afraid of hands, but I taught him to step up onto a stick which he is very reliable at. I offer treats out of my hands and he takes them. I have been offering my hand a lot the last week or two. I don't touch him, I don't push it into his body, I just present it. At first he would move away or pull back, so I would pull my hand back. Eventually, he began to not move away or pull back, so I left it there. Last week, he began to very gently beak and explore my finger. Today, I offered my hand while he was on his stick. He began to beak it alot and all over. Very curious. He seemed ok so I kept it there. He stepped up onto my finger. I immediately brought my hand to his play stand so he could hop off and then gave him a sunflower seed. Yay!!!! Argie!!!
