How old are they? You really need a dna test for accuracy. They look male to me... But I am pretty sure my "male" is going to lay eggs.
I'm just wondering are there toys and stuff in the cage? They get bored easily.
Mine I didn't know was a pearled till first molt.

Congratulations on your cockatiels! How old are they? They both look like boys to me. They are awfully cute! So is that a temporary cage set up?

Ok! That's actually probably your answer. The louder one would probably be a male. The quieter is probably the female. I would expect the louder to be more outgoing. They are probably paired, do you know the age? Has one ever laid? Are they hand trained? Have you had birds before? We are all happy to help if you have any other questions.
What are their other parts of personalitys.
I'm so sorry to bring this up again. But is that their cage?
Just wondering

A hen over seven or eight months old will have two yellow tail feathers with chocolate colored horizontal stripes. The pictures aren't very informative, but using a magnifying glass, thought one of them had at least one light colored feather, so could be a hen. The hens cheek spots should be pale, however, and both of yours are pretty dark.

Too hard to get enough information from the pictures.

Sorry I was just wondering. I would put them both males. Just cause one is really loud doesn't mean that the other is f you have a pretty big molt coming up and colour change can come up. And the puffy one does seem to have quite a bit of white under her wings. Would they be brother and sister?

They look like 2 males to me.
Look at the underside of their tails - if they are barred, they are females or babies. If they are solid gray, like they appear to be, then they are males. Males do tend to be more vocal than females, but that alone is not a reliable way to tell gender.

They would benefit from some more perches and toys in the cage. A plastic perch like that can eventually hurt their feet if it's the only perch.

At only seven months of age, the only way to be sure is with DNA. However, the one bird seems to have some light colored tail feathers and lighter colored orange cheek patches, as well as some squiggly white pied neck markings, trending towards the bird being a hen. The other bird definitely looks like a Normal Grey cock bird.

Again, at only seven months, breeders usually use singing behaviors to point out the cocks. Hens usually say squat before 9 months. They look like healthy, well bred cockatiels. What have you named them?

I think the one tiel is a pied which is difficult to visually sex. If the other is a normal grey, you can visually sex after the first molt. Here is website that has helpful info on sexing cockatiels. (And they're both really cute! :) Sexing Cockatiels - Just Cockatiels!

Normal grey is a male, I'm leaning towards the pied being male too because of the lack of barred tail feathers in the first set of pics. They are cuties!

No, all cockatiels have tail barring as babies. Males molt into those solid dark grey tail feathers, whereas females will keep some barring, especially on the underside and outer few tail feathers. It looks like he just hasn't molted those last few barred tail coverts.

Two males.

The barring would be on the long tail feathers. The under sides. Google it.
