Well at least I have a chance at this one, unfotunately Peanut has decided that all playing must be done when not in the presence of cameras, esp. my big scary macro lens

Maybe Peanut is scared of the camera or not used to it? Try setting it beside the cage or jut setting it down when he's out and let him approach it and and just get used to the presence of it being there. Of course if the bird starts biting at the camera you may want to take it away...

Peanut is pretty well used to it, after having it pointed at him constantly for months, but just not the brand new clunky macro lens, esp. since I am wanting to take advantage of it's macro capabilities and stick it 6 inches from his face.
