Hi everyone!
My name is Amanda. I'm new to the bird world, but I think something... infected me. I'm obsessed with the little critters now. It started with the budgie and then he had to have companions (but of course I couldn't get just one cockatiel when I found out how cute they are). Now I find myself needing a conure, quaker, or cockatoo (or all of them!). Haha.
I joke, but I do honestly love my little birdies. I never would have thought they could have so much personality and display so much affection. Not to mention the intellect. I'm completely hooked now. Which is very odd for for me because I've always been known more as the "reptile fanatic." I have a few snakes, a lizard, and a bearded dragon in addition to my birds... but the birds have really managed to capture my heart. I love all of my pets but one snake is very similar to another.
Anyway, before I start rambling about my beloved little critters, I'll end it here with a finally HELLO!
