Well Aly is really starting to bond with me. She is starting to make noises. I was upstairs letting my dog out and I herd this noise and thought it was my filer making noises and it was Aly immitating the noise, lol. She tricked me. She is starting to adjust and I went out and bought her a bunch of toys. My mom bought her some too, she spent $80 on her. My mom REALLY loves Aly and my dad is scared of her, lol. But everything is going good, she is sleeping a lot which I think is normal. Boomer did that. I always get paranoid with a new animal that they are sick and I don't know why. But Thursday we are off to the vets so my vet will get to know her and make sure she is healthy. Chiquita is SOOOOO jeallous, I have been paying so much attention to her but as soon as I start to talk to Aly Chiquita starts screaming and ringing her bells, I didn't think she would be this jeallous but I've been also giving her lots of fly time. I don't even think Boomer knows their is another bird here, lol.

Wow!! She's a beauty!! I thought you were getting a 'too, not a 'zon? She's lovely!!!! Is that a temporary cage for her? I'm surprised she doesn't bend/break the bars or destroy those little plastic finch feeders!

Thanks. Their are no toos in my area at all. We looked everywhere but once I saw Aly i was hooked on her. She is just amazing. Oh Im getting her some other bowls but no, she doesn't chew them yet but she is still settling in so she might.

Looks like she is settling in well. Have you thought about getting her a rope perch? They are nice and soft on their feet, rather then sitting on harder perches.

Looks like she is settling in well. Have you thought about getting her a rope perch? They are nice and soft on their feet, rather then sitting on harder perches.

Oh yes, Im picking up some rope perches at Walmart next time I go. Boomer needs a couple too. And Im putting in a flat perch with pine wood.

Oh Chiquita is sooo jellous, poor baby. But I have been giving her extra attention and fly times. She is not happy with Aly.
