to make sure pita can't fall off the counter top during one of his "backing up without looking" episodes... that's how he broke both blood feathers - backing up without looking, woops - down falls the birdie... he literally had no wing feathers back then. the fence made sure he can't fall off... and this was really the only place where he hurt himself since the rest of the apartment had carpet

LMAO That even cracked me up.....he was quite the mobile challenged there for a while....my little duck butt.
