Make sure her crop empties between feedings. Also be careful of overfeeding, some babies will let you know and others will continue whining even when it's obvious they have eaten enough. Some of our baby cockatiels (strangely usually the lutinos) would whine after feeding despite having full crops. One of our babies got sour crop and I'm thinking it may have had something to do with being fed too much. I agree to feed her more often during the day after her crop empties.

You're probably already doing it but keep a very close eye on her as handfeeding can cause a lot of problems. Handfeeding Cockatiels, Hand Feeding Cockatiels, baby birds, chicks, Crop Burn, Punctured Esophagus, Slow Gut, Sour Crop, Aspiration, Pneumonia, Aspergilliosis, Candidiasis, Yeast Infections, Subcutaneous Emphysema, Unweaned Baby Birds, handfeeding b Here's an article on different things that can happen. Although it says cockatiels, it could be for any baby.

You dont need to wait for the crop to fully empty. You only need to allow the crop to empty once every 24 hours. Which can be done at night after the last feeding. The crop should be empty in the morning.

No baby bird should need to wait and spend hours hungry and crying for food.
