24 year old moluccan Cockatoo new orleans area

Hello I was recommended this fourm by a reddit user, I'm trying to rehome my moluccan cockatoo and find him a good home. I'm not sure what would be best, my aunt who owned him passed away very suddenly and we are trying to find him a good home we can't have any king of pets and cockatoos are not very quiet so we could t even hide him, we've explained the situation to our land owner and how this is only temporary that he is here with us, we are not looking to sell so please do not ask, we also need to ask alot of questions about where he would go(he is family after all) and who is with. I'm not really sure how fourms work so if there is a problem please tell me and I will fix it.

Tell us some more about him please. There was someone on here recently looking for a cockatoo but I don't remember who. You said he is older. Is he tame? What kind of diet is he eating? Does he have a preference for men or women? All of this will help find a proper home for his needs.

Sorry to hear you were scammed.
I think it is normal to only hand over the money / send the money when everyone is together with the bird? I have never handed over a penny until the moment I am with the dog / bird / whatever animal (or even item) I am buying.
