Here are two foraging toys I bought for my birds today. I am excited because finding foraging toys for smaller parrots is not easy. I can't wait to see how they react when they see these toys tomorrow and if they can figure out how to open the lids. (Of course, I will help them so they don't get discouraged.
This one, I hope, will be good for my green-cheek conure (plastic cup with a plastic lid).
I am hoping these two below will be good for my budgies and lovebirds (plastic smiley mug with a leather lid, on a natural rope with beads)
This toy is a chew toy, but I also use it as a foraging station for my green-cheek. I stuff it with a few tiny pieces of dried fruit (blueberries, cranberries and papaya). Since they are sticky, they stay in-between the parts of this toy (mini playing cards with straw pieces).
I shared those pics because if some of you are crafty, you can most likely easily make similar toys.
