I'm so glad he healed up! When I used to scoop fish for a living, the telescope goldfish always made me nervous :o: They sure are cute though.

Do you have to be concerned how the other fish will react to him, picking on him, etc? I've read that sometimes happens but not sure if that is true or not.

My fish are all really well mannered. I have not had an issue with any of them.:) I did have a couple that came in that were very aggressive. One was a Ryukin, it constantly picked on others. I gave him to a vet tech friend. The other was a large eggfish, who I gave to my friend who has a 3500 gallon pond.;)

So there is not a general tendency for fish to normally pick on a weaker fish or one that was previously injured? That's what I had read. :)

I don't know Marie. Maybe some have experienced this. You know how things written on the internet suddenly become book...;)
I have seen videos of fish that were re-introduced to fish they were previously with, and the fish acted glad to be with them.{this was in a pond}

I'm so glad Zorro is doing well, & not suffering in any way from the other fish picking on him 'cause he's now different.
