I'm reconditioning myself to the fact that not all hamsters bite constantly

And Zombie, impersonating a squishy plush toy. He eventually takes a sunflower seed. We're working on consistently taking seeds/mealworms from my hand:

And neither one of us has yet tried to bite the other
I even got the the courage to pet his itty bitty hamster fur this time, it's great having a tame hamster. I did learn hamster feet on human feet tickles a bit (and yes, I missed the paper on the bottom of my foot from gift wrapping )...

I completely understand Usually I only clean Zombie's cage once a month and spot clean here and there which is one of the many benefits of larger cages (besides the fact that critter trails and similar cages are rather unacceptable as a permanent home for any hamster anyway). However old your daughter is it might be best to wait until she is older to take some (much) of the responsibility off of you.

They're cute but they do take up some time
I'm at my max right now and is why I haven't taken in a couple more snakes looking for new homes.

Today's tank cleaning day (I moved my hamster to a room with more activity at night and he seems to enjoy the interaction more). I completely stole your idea with the bendy bridges.
