Sprinting down the street
Not my personal pet but the young dove struck our 3rd floor window/siding while chased by a hawk. Yes, a hawk. The dove died most likely due to impact and dropped onto my 2nd floor deck. The hawk was lingering around hoping to get it but as soon as I approached the patio doors (glass) the hawk got scared and flew away.
It is hard to see one go like this especially after having 2 born on the flower planter outside of the deck and watching them grow.
Rest in peace little dove.
