Even though Bumi was with us for just a little while she will be sorely missed. I wil miss her "monkey talk" as my husband called it to wake us in the morning for feeding time...the headstrong way she would nip at our feet when she got to walk on the carpet and the way she would look out the window with such a patience that she would remind me to take things slow and just take in the view. So many things...
Little Bumi was not meant to live confined to a cage. Last night around 7pm she became extremely lethargic and was not eating...due to her deformities her lungs were being compressed and last night it was mostly only the oxygen cage keeping her alive. She passed away this morning. She was only 8 months old...I will miss her and was happy that I got to know her for those few precious months. You will be remembered Bumi. Fly free...my sweet little Bumi.
