I have a t2i and the only difference between the t3i and the t2i is the t3i has a flip/swivel screen. I LOVE my t2i (got it on my birthday last year) and I highly recommend springing for a 50mm prime lens (somewhere around $100). Buy a couple extra memory cards, set your ISO so it doesn't go about 1200/1600 (you can set a limit). Turn off your flash, set it to RAW and go!

If you haven't used RAW before I highly recommend it.

Did you ask when they will have them in stock again? Just give them your number and get them to call you when they have some more. Also ask them if they can put one away for you so you will have one there to pick up and don’t have to worry about going there and them having none, if they go fast. Or you could look elsewhere for one.

Yes I asked and they said that they won't get it unless I tell them to order it and it will take about 1-2 months to ship here. Amazon takes 2-4 weeks. Maybe........

Yeah Amanda, the swivel screen is pretty important to me. Seems like Fry's has the T3i!

Swivel screen, manual audio gain control, wireless flash transmitter, 10x digital zoom feature for video etc.

I'm just curious why the swivel screen is important to you? Are you planning on doing a lot of video work with the camera?
