The meeting was amazing!
She was so excited she just ran up to my dad and me and pushed her nose to our faces. Very special. I took her to meet my aunt shortly after we got home and she was skittish and scared and it made it even more apparent that our first meeting was even more unusual for a xolo. (typically aloof with stangers)
But she was perfect. And beautiful. She is perfect.
She was born with a knot in her tail and at two days the breeder cropped off the knotted part, which has left her with a shorter than normal and a bit knobbly tail. And even that is perfect.
If I could let all you guys touch her! She feels pretty great. The skin of her face, muzzle and neck is so soft. The rest of her is a bit tougher and she has little hairs that crop on her body (and a little mohawk patch on her head) but petting her is so unlike petting other dogs. And she seems to love it more than any dog I've ever cuddled too. She runs to me and rubs herself all over me to get more cuddles when I stop.

Keep in mind she has come straight from an outside kennel with other dogs. She is not hurt, just a bit scuffed up. A few baths and oil downs and a little time will see her skin in much better condition.

No idea. I am birdless at the moment.How is she around birds?
But I'll figure something out in the case that I get any.
