Lola You will be missed, sweet guy.
Very much so...I could not have the birds that I have if it wasn't for her. And her vet tech/manager has been a blessing and good friend as well.I just wanted to say, what a blessing it is that you have Dr. O as your vet.
I'm so very sorry!I will miss his grumping and yelling. Heart disease can no longer hold you back buddy.

Thank you. Yes, I am comforted knowing he didn't pass in a dark and dingy basement. He had toys, good food (those akron cheekies LOVE food of any kind) and most importantly he finally had a friend. It's mostly hard when they start to decline and you worry you aren't reading the situation correctly...missing cues or overreacting?I'm so sorry Chandra.
But for Lola, he was very happy to have you that gave him the care that he needed.
I hope that it is some kind of comfort that you gave Lola the best ending ever.
I understand that it can't be easy to rescue birds when you know that you can lose them any day.
You really have a big loving heart Chandra!
