Thanks ever so much for all the kind replies. Hototo is slowly returning to some of his normal behaviour today. Been eating OK, had a bath, played with a few of his toys for a short time and came out for a fly around. You can tell he misses Chiku and can't work out where she has gone. He's stopped contact calling for her, but is not yet as vocal as much as normal.
