I'm sad to report that my female Hooded Parrot Chiku dropped off the perch yesterday. You were a brave little bird who managed to fight pretty hard for the last 8 months and a more noble soul I've yet to meet.



Fly fast, fly straight and fly true with wings held high all the way to the Rainbow Bridge. Until we meet again I promise to take good care of your best friend Hototo.
