I used to purchase children's books to read to Emma. Then that got old because she's too bright so I stopped.
Now I have 3 parrots, SO time management is of utmost importance.
I read out loud when I'm studying while Emma sits on my shoulder and politely listens.
Sometimes it's the most driest stuff to read but she doesn't care as long as I read it aloud. These days Emma gets to hear all about finance and current economic conditions. When I feel like reading her lighter stuff she gets to hear about The Richest Man in Babylon.
