I just learned from a friend that her neighbor lost their blue ringneck parakeet on Friday, Aug. 5.
It's name is Sidney. It will respond to it's name (for it's owners and potentially female voices but it doesn't sound like it responds as well to male voices). It's molting (they didn't know it's feathers were growing out and it got outside) and it can talk and whistle a little.
