Saturday we got in Matilda's new mate, a 9 month old spot boar that I've facesiously named Einstein. Matilda just turned 3... She's quite enamoured with her young....er....love. And this, my friends, is how a pig can be a cougar!

I originally was just going to lease Einstein for a couple of months....but the owner said he was going to take him to the sale barn when he came to get him, so, you see, I HAD to buy him.
I'm hoping that by the end of Feb or mid March to have a litter of wee spotted piggies from them!

LOL! Thanks guys! I'm pretty darn attatched to them (which is LUCKY for them! ) and I can't wait to see their babies. Einstein is a Gloucester Old Spot cross, and Matilda is a Hampshire/Yorkshire cross (known as a blue butt), so I'm hoping the odds for polka dot piggies are high! Of course, pics will be posted of the babies when they arrive....
