I was flipping channels on the TV, and we have a bunch of music stations. I happened to pause on the Polka station and Kiwi went nuts. If he thinks I will be listening to polka from now on he is out of his little birdie mind.

Each of my birds has their own song. Sunshine, You Are My Sunshine for Sunny; Bicycle Built For Two for Trixie; The Wheels on the Bus (substatuting birdy body parts) for Emmie; My Bonnie (Precie) Lies Over the Ocean for Precie; La Cucarracha for Pedro. They usually don't respond to much music on TV; just classical with lots of horns and drums. Oh, I have to sing the songs with words.

I love hearing all the birds' favorite songs. It's so cute. Kiwi usually doesn't respond to music, so maybe I should play polka for him when I am not home to keep him busy. I usually just leave the radio on to whichever station I was listening to.

My bird likes my Mom when she sings songs intended to amuse children. The rest of the household wishes she would stop. Bella also adores opera and some classical music.

Angel has two songs that make her go nuts! One is "Boogie Man" by KC and the Sunshine Band and the other is "Urgent" by Foreigner. We dance to both of those almost every night and she sings along and adds, "Hey! Hey! Hey!" as she's booging with KC.
