I've never had a male. Althea was dna sexed and the two budgies I had as a kid we knew were female when they got older. I was told my second budgie was male and I don't know why I believed the pet store she came from especially after they clipped all the flight feathers on one wing. At least that store went out of business a couple months later.

My dad complained about being outnumbered before we got Westley. xD At one point we had three female birds, a female praying mantis, a female turtle, plus my mother, my sister, and myself. He was the only male.

Good question! Now that I think about it, we have 3 males, 5 females and one mystery gender presumed male.
