Went in to check on Jackson

He's not been spending much time on his tree lately. He's just fine though, we exchanged soft clicking noises in the dark. He ate tonight but much of the time he was out tonight on his tree I wasn't in the bird room. So I just HAD to go wake him up to whisper I love you. He's 25 and been with me since he was 4 or 5 months old.

unrelated. Arrived at 3-4 months and is 12 now.

Thanks guys! Wendy that’s amazing! That’s astonishingly record breaking! I’ve not had good luck with tiels. Lost one at age 10 to a stupid vet, another at 6 to an uninformed vet and Emily at 12 to cancer.

Anyway we suspect Jackson has arthritis and he was on Avitech like Rudy, but I stopped giving him any a few months ago. It’s not severe, that’s why. Gave him a dose this morning and he’s back on his tree snacking. Yay! So just like Rudy gets a dose daily, he will too.

incredible! I keep saying that! I wanted to get Jackson a lovebird friend when he was a single bird but the store employee told me lovebirds only live five years!!

He’s covered up and irate because BScoot is beating up on a bottle and Rudy is clattering a bowl under his cage. He will continue protesting until lights out. Soon as BScoot’s bottle ring breaks I’ll turn off all but two lights signaling bedtime is imminent

from BirdsafeStore many many years ago. I can't find them on there just now. Maybe ask Joe to get them for you? I have two in Jackson's cage. He is very fond of them!
