Hi guys my 2 day old cockatiel chick's crop is completely filled with pellets as the parents were feeding it . Please tell me what should I do , this is my first time taking care of a young one. Or should I rush it to veterinarian.

Are the pellets whole or chewed up from the parents?

I don't know much about baby tiels. To be safe, I would contact a vet.

Are you trying to let them breed on purpose or did it just sort of happen?

Update : the chick sadly passed away today :( I hand feeded it properly, but I saw some pellets stuck in its intestine. Can you tell me what should I do in future to avoid it.
For one ,you could not feed your birds pellets when they have babies.

So what else should I feed them , because I have tried to give them fresh fruit but they don't eat it , they love green vegetables but I am scared to give it to them because I think the chick might not be able to digest it properly and die .

You could give them seed or look on the internet. Somewhere i saw bird food specifically for birds to regurgitate for babies. At the very least, you could smash up their pellets into tiny pieces.

Breeding birds should be eating pellets and veggies. You can supplement with egg food, but ultimately if the parents are not on an optimum diet, then you should wait until they are before breeding.
I am not saying your birds can't eat seeds, but everything in moderation, and you want to go a little heavier on the pellets when breeding to unsure that all the chicks are getting the nutrients they need.
