We'll do TAG first - no good news here I am waiting for a day when she'll let me come scrub the cage and stock it up. As far as I know she isn't still looking for a mate for him. I keep hoping that means she will let me buy him after she has had time to stew on it a bit.
BFA - Doing just lovely. Another Roadie is coming to visit this Saturday so I wanted to bring her home and be able to introduce her! So, I brought her home today. She is in a TEMPORARY cage - it's entirely too small for her but she is a bar chewer and the one I got with her was rusted. It's very tempting to load it up with stuff but then she won't have any room so I just put the minimums in there. She's just in this one until her cage arrives from Kathie. Thank goodness I went with the aluminium one!
She is very very active and enjoys any toy and texture I offer her to play with. She is nervous about us around the cage, so I am not pushing the subject and letting her settle in. She eats TOPS! What a relief! I went out and bought "Hartz" large parrot seed mix because it was the closest I could find to what she was being fed (basically a seed mix...) and here she is eating the healthy stuff on her own!
Here are some pictures of her settling in and playing with the new toy I made today
This her scaling the back of the cage because I have come too close
Playing PeekABoo behind the toy - hiding from the camera of death
