My Moby does something similar. Its part of territorial display he likes to use toys or wood chips...anything really that's long and of shaped and knocks on things while eyeing "the enemy". Sometimes - more often than not, he hits himself in the face and chest as he is knocking on things. Its what happens when you're hammering and not looking at what you're doing. Lol
